Best of October

Well November is well and truly here, but I wanted to take a moment to thank all the readers of this site. Whether you subscribe to my RSS feed (what is a RSS feed?), or simply drop by every once in awhile, I appreciate you taking an interest in this site. More and more this site is starting to feel like a self improvement community, rather than a place for me to simply rant and ramble. And for that, I once again thank you.
Here are a selection of the best posts on this site in October:
If You Want to Change, Tell the Truth
End Your Week With These 7 Questions
7 Ways to Boost Your Mood (a guest post by Z.Hereford - Essential Life Skills)
You may have also noticed I am now a regular contributor at Pick The Brain. Here are the guest posts I wrote:

As you can see, it has been a busy month! No wonder I got a case of the old writer’s block this week
. Anyway, the cogs upstairs seems to be turning again so stay tuned for another great month.

Quick question: if your site was originally a place for you to rant and ramble, why did you call it I Will Change your Life? I’m curious.

Thanks Jean
.
Why the site name? Well believe me I thought about that a few times. I didn’t really believe the site would get popular when I created it, but I think I secretly hoped it would. So from a branding perspective I wanted something unique, different, and memorable. “I will change your life” probably seems pretentious and arrogant to some people, but I think anyone who reads my articles will find my writing genuine and down-to-earth.
Sometimes I also like to imagine the name is related to my son, Xavier. As I have previously written about, the news I was going to be a dad was really what provided the impetus to sort my life out. “I will change your life” is something he might have said to me when I first found out the news (if, of course, he could talk)

When I think about it, my site should be called “I will change my life”. That doesn’t sound very good though

Peter,
Thanks for the explanation…and for your posts. I’m just finishing up my contribution to the Think Different Challenge, so you’re definitely in my thoughts.
