E-book Recommendations
In recent weeks two of my blogging friends, Alex Blackwell and Scott Young, have released e-books into the online world.
How to Finish Strong in Life a collection of Alex’s best articles on The Next 45 Years. The e-book is beautifully designed and contains many wonderful insights into relationships, happiness, and success. Here is a excerpt from the introduction I particularly liked:
The first step in improving or changing our lives is to make the decision to do so. Nothing changes until the choice is made to begin changing. It begins with taking that first step out of our comfort zones. Even though fear and doubt may exist in the fringe right outside of our comfort zones, personal growth and happiness live on the other side.

Scott’s e-book, Learn More, Study Less, is about holistic learning. For those unfamiliar with holistic learning, Scott describes it as a strategy based on weaving information into webs, instead of bludgeoning yourself with rote-memorization. I am very guilty of bludgeoning myself with rote-memorization (ie repeating information enough times with the hopes that it will stick), so this e-book has definitely given me some ideas for changing the way I learn.
