Happy Holidays from The Change Blog
By Peter Clemens
I just wanted to write a short note to wish Merry Christmas (for those who celebrate it) and Happy Holidays to readers of The Change Blog.
Thank you for all your support this year. Over the past 12 months readership of The Change Blog has grown from approximately 4K subscribers to 10K+. Again, thank you!
As I write this it is Christmas morning in Vancouver. This is the first time since I moved from Australia to Vancouver in 2007 that it won’t be a White Christmas. I miss the snow (it is still a novelty for me), but on the upside we’re not expecting any rain. The thing I’m most looking forward to this Christmas is seeing how excited my two boys – Xavier (almost 3) and Rohan (17 months) – will be (they haven’t woken up yet).
I’m taking a short break from posting until the New Year. I’m using this time to review the year that has been and to plan ahead for 2010. Until then I’ve compiled a list of the most popular articles on The Change Blog this year:
- Become a Person People Want to be Around
- Awakening with the Two-Step Dance of Awareness and Release
- The Seven Deadly Sins – The Secret to Language Learning
- How To Get Yourself Out of a Bad Mood
- The Power of Monomaniacal Obsession
- 5 Fundamentals for Success in Life
- The Limits of Our Freedom
- You Are Already Whole
- The Two Most Important Words For Changing Your Life
- How to Use Fear to Find Your Passion
Lastly, if you’re interested in contributing an article to The Change Blog I would love to hear from you. My email is peter [at] thechangeblog.com. I’m particularly interested in reading stories of change. Examples of such stories are:
- Following My Heart (All the Way to Mexico…)
- Changing Habits: From Workaholic to Achievement Junkie to Husband, Father, and Friend
See you in 2010!

Thank you everyone for your holiday wishes!
@Hilary we actually don’t get a great deal of snow in the city (mainly just rain). The surrounding mountains are a different story though, hence the upcoming Winter Olympics in Vancouver/ Whistler.

Hi Peter .. yes I realised .. I went up to Jasper .. in a snow storm round the 4th July 1997 (I think!) .. but we didn’t have time to go up the coast – another time. We went in the Rocky Mountain Express which was fun and very interesting .. 24 hours or so in V, and then over to the Island to stay with a cousin of my Ma’s .. very interesting – one day I’ll be back! Really fancied Vancouver just a lovely setting .. Good luck for 2010 – all the best Hilary
